Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally called Andra day is an American R&B singer-songwriter. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are just a few of the numerous awards she's received. The singer was also nominated for an Academy Award. Andra day is an incredibly gifted and skilled artist. She's not a throwback R&B specialist, however her roots in gospel jazz as well as the blues are evident and is a perfect fit for today's music. Andra Day has been born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew in San Diego and the metropolitan region. There she sang at churches, and was enrolled into The School of Creative and Performing Arts. Following her graduation from the school, she was drawn to contemporary R&B and pop but was eventually drawn back to the jazz and soul vocalists she heard as a youngster. Kai Millard Morris, who caught a live performance by Day and then took her songs to Stevie Wonder's husband was the biggest success. This, in turn, led to the Motown legend connected Day to the music industry's expert Adrian Gurvitz. Allied together with Gurvitz and Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day developed a YouTube following and eventually signed to major label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day made her debut track Forever Mine on YouTube. This song was immediately taken up and played on radio by many DJs. After that, she signed with Warner Bros. Records and started cooperating with her producer, Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album, Cheers to the Fall (2015). This album featured the song"Rise Up" which became an appeal to social justice movements around the globe. Day was nominated to win two Grammy Awards, with the latter being Best R&B Album. The United States against Billie Holiday is a recording concept on the legendary jazz vocalist. The album was released by Day in the year. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biographical account of Holiday which was released in the same year. Andi Matichak is an American actress. She made her debut in the movie Halloween as Allyson, after appearing in various television shows, including Orange Is the New Black (Orange is the new black) Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) as well as Blue Bloods and Orange is the new black. Andi matichak is an American actress who was born 03 May 1994 in Framingham in Massachusetts.
