Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her stage career began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a producer on a variety of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. The family she was born into moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
